We have conducted a comprehensive study on the nutritional status and nutrition in Indonesia as one of the guides in Southeast Asia, called SEANUTS (Sout East Asia Nutrition Survey). This study had surveyed the nutrition status on 16.000 children age 6 months – 12 years old in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
According to a research conducted in 2012, about 70% children in South East Asia are deficient in iron, calcium, and important vitamin such as vitamin A, C, and D deficiency. Another research found that 34% of Indonesian children have unproportional body height, and 22,3% children with malnutrition. In another hand, children obesity in big cities is increase, 4,05% Indonesian children are obese.
Based on SEANUTS research, FFI creates several work programs to prove its commitment as a well known dairy based company to improve Indonesian people nutrition by providing high quality products.
